Keep It Cut is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Stylist or Barber ready to step into a leadership role. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll bring your craft and your character to the chair — while helping your team do the same.

Keep It Cut was co-founded by childhood friends Jacob & Josh, who built a brand around one simple truth: a fresh cut changes your mood and your confidence. Since opening our first location in 2012, we’ve grown to 12 shops across the Phoenix Metro area — powered by our Unlimited Haircuts Membership and the people behind the chair.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll work alongside the Salon Manager to lead daily operations and support your team’s success. This is a hands-on role — you’ll still be cutting, but you’ll also be leading.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality haircuts to Unlimited Membership clients
  Supporting the Salon Manager with opening/closing procedures
  Coaching and motivating stylists to deliver a consistent, excellent experience
  Handling customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset
  Helping maintain a positive, high-energy salon culture
  Assisting with scheduling and day-to-day operational needs

About You

You’re a skilled stylist or barber who’s ready for more. You lead by example, communicate well, and bring out the best in the people around you. You’re coachable, consistent, and genuinely enjoy connecting with clients and teammates alike.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of men’s haircutting experience (Required)
  Active Cosmetology License (Required)
  Previous leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)
  Availability for both day and night shifts
  A positive attitude and passion for the craft

What We Offer

New team members are guaranteed a minimum of $25/hour (wages + tips) for the first six months — and over 90% of our stylists exceed that. Assistant Managers average $29–$41/hour as they grow their client relationships and leadership skills.
